Tasks vary throughout the autumn / winter, but will usually involve scrub control of birch, small pine, mixed broadleaf and gorse. We usually have a bonfire and packed lunch out on the heath. We will also be doing a limited amount of mature tree felling and need people to help drag and burn the brash. Currently we are removing and stump treating birch regeneration across the whole park (well the worst areas anyway). For more information contact Toby Branston on Tel: / Fax: 01425 472975 Mob: 07801 344024 or e-mail: toby.branston@rspb.org.uk.
