Tutors: Dr Anne & John Bebbington. Come and learn how to identify a wide range of trees and shrubs, using shape, bark, twigs and buds. Illustrated talks, field work and help with keys. By the end of the course, participants should have confidence in their ability to identify a wide range of trees and shrubs in winter. Suitable for interested amateurs and professional recorders alike. Anne and John Bebbington have taught courses on plant and animal identification both in the UK and overseas since 1979. Anne is a botanist and botanical artist while John, although primarily a zoologist, uses tree identification to help find invertebrates.
